How Are My Little Crackers Today?
Well the world as we know it in South Park, Colorado has come to an end. Chef is packing up his chocolate salty balls and leaving town. I read today that Isaac Hayes has quit the show South Park citing religious intolerance. Specifically intolerance to HIS religion scientology. (Who knew he was into that crap?!?)
A quote from Hayes "There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins," the 63-year-old soul singer and outspoken scientologist said.
"Religious beliefs are sacred to people, and at all times should be respected and honored," he continued. "As a civil rights activist of the past 40 years, I cannot support a show that disrespects those beliefs and practices."
Has he never actually watched this show????? Where were his religious beliefs when they were poking fun at christians, jews, mormons, mel gibson and Jesus Christ Himself?? Cashing his checks. That's where.
